Crossing The Chasm

On November 4th, 2008, the American voters made history as Barack Obama, became the first African American to be elected as the 44th President of the United States of America.

The entire world watched with bated breath as Americans stood together in unity, transforming millions of individual voices into a single powerful voice demanding change. The barriers have now been shattered as we move forward and transition from the old paradigm into the light of the new earth.

But this is only the beginning...  It is now time to transcend our hopes and boldly step into the knowing that we are powerful beings capable of effecting and creating great change.

Bigger Than America

Barack Obama is a truly transformational figure who has inspired millions of people around the world. He has inspired us with the hope of change, and the dream that together we can create a better world. But the world must not project all of its hopes for change upon just one man.

President Obama’s success depends upon our commitment. Each and every one of us has an essential role to play, and each of us must be willing to accept our share of personal responsibility if we truly seek the change we asked for.

We live in this world as a shared experience. We may reside in separate countries with different cultures and values, we may practice different religions and ideologies, we may wear different styles of clothing that cover our different colored skins, but the geographical lines and cultures that divide us are only imaginary. We are all brothers and sisters of the human race who share this world together, and together as a global community united we must take responsibility for the work that lies ahead.

The New Way Forward

With the awakening and awareness of higher consciousness expanding around the globe, it will not be long before science will come to better understand the correlation between the universal governing-principals of the spiritual realm and the physical world. We must and we will develop new technologies based on the natural power of the earth’s resources that will carry us into a healthy and sustainable future. It has been a long time coming, but returning to nature was inevitable if we are to survive. And herein lays the answer and the key to understanding the universal wisdom that has been with us all along;

Nature + Technology = A Sustainable Future

This is the energy model of the new earth, so let us use this formula of universal wisdom as a new approach for everything we do. And just as the earth has it’s own natural resources, so do human beings. Humanity and nature are not separate sources of energy that are independent of each other, we are one in the same, engaged in an interdependent relationship on many levels.

Each and every one of us can be a lighthouse of power if we are willing to acknowledge and take responsibility for who and what we are. Each of us is connected to the universal source energy through our spiritual selves. We have been disconnected from this knowledge for far too long, but it is time we return to the truth of who we are and reclaim our power.

With the current state of the changing climate, the economic crisis, rising unemployment, the healthcare disaster, world hunger, homelessness, the war in Iraq, our strained international relations, and a finite supply of oil, we are now being forced to reevaluate our choices and our options. We cannot look back to find the new way forward or we are bound to find ourselves in a future that looks very much like the past.

Conscious Evolution

Until the end of the 20th century, the forces of evolution have been essentially external rather than those of conscious choice - This is simply where the journey has carried us. But this is changing as we have recently awakened to the possibility that we can consciously participate in the course of our own evolution. We can and we will become whatever we choose to become. But what will we become?

Our politics today are still based on a model of a domination-oriented philosophy, our are economics based on the greed of amassing personal wealth, while our interpersonal relationships are based on possessiveness and ego. We have grown in knowledge and power way beyond the wildest dreams of our ancestors, yet our wisdom has taken a giant leap backward since the astrological, shamanistic, and mystical traditions that flowered thousands of years ago. And as we stand at the portal of this new earth, the choices that lay ahead of us today are more important than ever before.

Conscious Evolution is the evolution of consciousness to the next stage of awareness – the ‘awakening’ of the parts to their awareness as a whole. We are so much more powerful when we come together in unity as a ‘whole’ than we are as the individual parts. We have known this for some time but we have never used this concept to its full advantage.

The Global Mind and Heart

Until we fully grasp the concept that we are one, that each of us as a singular part make up the whole, and that the whole flourishes from the contribution of all its parts, we will be forever wandering and searching for a better way as we remain trapped within the grasp of our individual egos.

We asked for change, in fact, we demanded it! But it takes more than casting a vote at the ballot box to effect real change – it takes a change in consciousness! We must change our minds and our hearts and we must come together in unity as a global community to create the world we want.

Through the power of group meditation we can transform the world through unity of consciousness and transcend our hopes while we co-create together as a global mind and heart. We must take this quantum leap forward – For if not now… then when?
